Nick is a former President of the Society of Editors and ex-Digital Strategy Manager for the Cumbria-based CN Group.
He's edited several websites including

in-cumbria.com and cumbrialive.co.uk.

Nick has more than 20 years experience in regional journalism and founded the Digital Editors' Network in conjunction with Francois Nel of UCLan. The Network brings together online media managers from the national and regional press to share best practice. 

Christine is a Freelance Film & TV Location, Production & Studio Manager who has 35 years’ experience in all aspects of professional media production.  A staff member at Tyne Tees Television for 15 years, and a Freelance for the last 20 years, she is still as passionate about the creative and practical side of the Industry.  She has specialized in both aspects, utilizing her original Drama and Art qualifications as well as her extensive broadcast experience in her film Location work to find and organize the best possible on-screen realization of a script – including such international hits as Billy Elliot.  As the Line Producer on the popular long running Byker Grove she had the responsibility of hiring the crew, organizing trainees, and running the everyday workings of this popular drama series. With an in-depth practical knowledge of all the job roles required to create a Production Team from the obvious to the surprising and as qualified teacher, trainer and mentor to the industry, Christine is committed to exploring the opportunities out there for the next generation of  TV and Film Makers.

Jamie has worked in the Film and TV industry for 15 years - he's experienced in TV, Drama, Broadcast, Commercials, Features and high end Corporate film making. 
Winner of the Royal Television Society NETB Centre Award 2014.
Beginning as a runner on Sky TV's Dream Team, he then worked for Picture Canning in London for 6 years at first in the kit room and progressing to being the Bookings Manager.
In 2004 Jamie decided to open Picture Canning North, based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. His clients include BBC, Carnival Pictures, Lime Pictures, ITV, Tiger Aspect, BabyCow, Hatrick Productions, CBBC, SKY TV, Channel 4, Shiner LTD, Whizz Kid Entertainment, Tall Tree Pictures, The Edge Picture Company, Company Pictures and many more.

Roger’s assignments have included the European Games in Azerbaijan, and the Rio Olympics in 2016. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi Roger worked in the International Broadcast Centre in Russia as Senior Commentary Producer for OBS, Olympic Broadcast Services. He joined Tyne Tees TV as a trainee sports reporter in January 1976 and within a couple of years was presenting the Sunday afternoon football programme SHOOT. 24 years later, Roger’s commentary of the EURO 2000 final was enjoyed by an estimated audience in excess of 100 million viewers, in more than 100 countries around the world. For 15 years Roger was also the Head of Sport at Tyne Tees - so all of the budgets and programme administration were his responsibility, together with the hiring of all staff. Since 1994 he’s produced all the DVDs published by Newcastle United including early Black and White Video Magazines plus all the end of season reviews. Other titles include PETER THE GREAT (Beardsley) SIX OF THE BEST (Keegan) A TON OF THE TOON, THE OFFICIAL HISTORY OF NEWCASTLE UNITED, 501 NEWCASTLE GOALS, MAGPIE MAGIC, BIG HITS AND SHEARER THE LEGEND. Many of these he scripted and narrated. Similar titles have been published for Sunderland including THE HISTORY OF ROKER PARK plus two Hartlepool United promotion specials. He produced DURHAM AT THE DOUBLE (Durham CCC's two trophy wins) and ALAN SHEARER'S ULTIMATE FOOTBALL (which he wrote for Alan to present). Roger's time at independent production company filmNova involved helping produce race coverage of the Great Run series for Channel 5 and narrating the overseas version of races for worldwide distribution. He was also twice the reporter/producer on documentary style programmes in Addis Ababa, on THE GREAT ETHIOPIAN RUN. Roger runs the broadcast & corporate production company, Box to Box Media. He’s covered two World Cups, two Olympic Games, European Football Championships, World Diving Championships, Champions League Football ... Roger runs Box to Box Media and brings a world of experience to our team.

Ian co-anchors ITV Tyne Tees and ITV Border's nightly news programmes at 6pm, Monday to Friday. He's been with ITV Tyne Tees since 1992 - progressing from Sports Trainee to Main News Presenter.  Ian has been the RTS Presenter of the Year, and co-presented the BAFTA winning news programme in 2010. Throughout his career he's been occasionally seconded to ITV Sport for major events and his news / sports assignments have included: The Champions League, The Ashes in Australia, The Rugby World Cup in France, The Paralympics in Beijing and The Special Olympics in Los Angeles 2015. Ian set up first impression workshops in 2012 ...

Now the Operations Manager at ITV Signpost, Kenny was previously a Senior News Correspondent with four Royal Television Society (RTS) and eight ITV News Awards to his name.

He's also been a senior lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University - Programme Leader for the MA journalism degree, and lecturer on the BA journalism & BA Television Production Degree courses.

Kenny started his career in newspaper reporting, and his investigative TV work put him among the most acclaimed journalists in the country. 

He now heads up the ITV Signpost team, providing multi-media productions for the Deaf community.

Nick has been working in the industry for 30 years. Radio is ever changing, but is always fun and of course should be entertaining. Over the years he's seen many changes including hundreds of new stations, bringing with them more listener choice.

On leaving school Nick trained to be a motor mechanic, took all the relevant certificates, qualified and then gave it all up! He headed for London and started working in and around the City doing disco’s and working the clubs. London is where he was first introduced to hospital radio at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead and Stoke Mandeville hospital in Aylesbury - from there came his break into professional radio.

Steven's been at ITV for 15 years, starting out as an Advertising Sales Assistant working on the booking of advertising campaigns across the family of channels. He moved up to become a Business Development Executive nearly 4 years ago and now works with the team selling TV airtime, Sponsorship, Video on Demand and Product Placement to a range of clients in the Tyne Tees and Border region and many big national companies too like SCS, Trivago and Subway to name a few.

Simon is the Former Chief Sports Writer at the Journal and North East Football Writer for The Independent. He currently writes for The Times, Chronicle, Journal and ... Classic Rock Magazine. He’s also the Media Manager for Northumbria University Sport and a Lecturer in Music Writing and Practical Sports Journalism at Northumbria University. Simon’s the Module leader (sport) at Press Association Training Newcastle.
